My guess was that they held her up to get her to climb in through the window. But I don’t feel like that’s throwing someone through a window.

Beth says that the go-to technique to get in the house when you were locked out was to throw her through a window?!?! That raises so many more questions! This happen often enough that there was a go-to method? Why was she thrown through the window? Was the window left open? If so, was that on purpose? If not, why was hurling a child through a pane of glass seen as the optimal solution? Is Beth traumatized from the repeated lacerations caused by being chucked at a window by an uncaring family?
